what is crossfit?
CrossFit is excited to be a part of the Searcy community!  Try it and you will be hooked!  CrossFit is "constantly varied, high intensity, functional movements" meaning you won't see any treadmills or ellipticals but you will find sweat, life change, and people pushing themselves to their ultimate limit.

CrossFit is:

  • defined by specializing in not specializing.
  • a program that improves your weaknesses to become stronger and better in every physical aspect. 
  • different from any gym, workout, or program out there. 
  • a mindset just as much as it is a workout.
  • a place where clients are considered athletes despite their background.
  • an avenue to develop bonds with fellow athletes by suffering through a brutal workout and giving each other support and encouragement.
  • a community that allows you to hold your fellow athletes accountable and provide friendly competition in a non-judgemental atmosphere.
  • unique in the fact that all classes, workouts, and activities are overseen by at least one Certified CrossFit Trainer who teaches a different and high intensity work out each day, and is available as a personal trainer to encourage, challenge and ensure all movements are performed properly and to the best of your ability.
  • a fast growing worldwide affiliate that is becoming a part of the Searcy community in mid September to provide something new, challenging and life changing physically, mentally and spiritually.
